Our team
Eight people, and what each of them does.
A practice is not only its physicians. Most of what decides whether you can be seen — whether your plan was verified, whether the scan happens today, whether the referral was actually made — is done by the people below.

The team
Clinical profiles are published in full — training, board certification and hospital privileges — before the practice opens.
Dr. Sofia Martinez, MD
Leads the clinical side of the practice: obstetric and gynecologic care, high-risk pregnancy co-management, and the office and theatre procedures Vireo performs itself.
Natalia Rodriguez, WHNP-BC
Advanced practice provider for routine obstetric and gynecologic care, preventive visits and contraception, sharing the prenatal schedule with the physician.
Camila Torres, RDMS
Registered diagnostic medical sonographer. Obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound in the office, which is why a scan happens at the same visit rather than at another appointment.
Isabella Garcia, CMA
Clinical support through patient flow and procedures — rooming, vitals, preparing and assisting with in-office procedures.
Daniela Perez, CMA
Clinical support through patient flow and procedures, working across the three offices as the schedule requires.
Valentina Lopez
Scheduling, insurance eligibility and patient intake. She is the person who verifies your benefits before the first visit so your share is known in advance.
Andrea Hernandez
Patient communication, referrals and checkout — including arranging the referrals we send out rather than handing you a phone number.
Michelle Alvarez
Clinic operations: staffing, compliance and practice performance across Brickell, Coral Gables and Aventura.
Still to publish
What each clinical profile will carry before we open
- Where they trained and what they are board-certified in, with the certifying board and the year, so it can be checked against the ABOG register.
- Which hospitals they hold privileges at — the question that decides where your birth happens.
- Which languages they consult in themselves, rather than which languages the front desk speaks.
- What they spend the week doing: a surgeon who does two excisions a year is not the same as one who does two a week.
Know before you book.
Vireo opens in 2027. Until then the plan list, panel status and first-available wait for every office are published on this site and kept current. Questions can go to the practice office on (305) 555-0180.
