Brickell · Coral Gables · Aventura — opening 2027
Obstetrics and gynecology in Miami.
Three offices across Miami-Dade and south Broward. Most practices make you call to find out whether they take your plan and when they could see you — we publish both, keep them current, and hold ourselves to a first appointment within ten business days.
What we treat
Gynecology
Five areas of care, each with a page that says what we do, what we refer out, and how the choice between options is actually made.
Fibroids
From watchful waiting to minimally invasive hysterectomy. Which option fits depends on where the fibroids sit, not how big they are.
Endometriosis
Diagnosed on the history rather than after years of waiting, and excised rather than ablated where the disease calls for it.
PCOS
A metabolic workup as well as a cycle one, because insulin resistance is the part that matters over decades.
Menopause
Hormone therapy where it is indicated, non-hormonal options where it is not, and a clinician who will discuss both.
Heavy periods
Investigated in a single visit — bloods, ultrasound and biopsy where needed — and treated medically before surgically.
All conditions
Including preconception counselling and the conditions we co-manage rather than treat alone.
Services
Obstetrics and procedures
What a Vireo clinician does themselves, and where each thing happens.
Prenatal care and delivery
Fourteen visits, all booked at the first appointment. Delivery at Baptist Hospital of Miami or Mount Sinai Medical Center.
High-risk pregnancy
Co-managed with maternal-fetal medicine, with us remaining your primary contact rather than handing you over.
Minimally invasive surgery
Laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures including hysterectomy, usually same-day or one night.
Contraception and IUD
Same-visit placement, with devices held in stock rather than ordered after the consultation.
Annual well-woman exam
Screening to current intervals, a cardiovascular conversation, and time for the thing you were going to mention at the end.
All services
Nine services in total, with what we refer out stated on each page rather than discovered at the visit.
Your first visit
Forty-five minutes, not fifteen
Long enough to take a history properly, do what needs doing on the day, and leave with a plan you can read.
-
01History, sitting down and dressed
Nobody takes a history from someone in a gown. We start with what brought you in, in your words, and what you have already tried.
-
02Examination and ultrasound the same day
Where a scan is indicated it happens at that visit, in the office, rather than being booked for another week.
-
03A written plan before you leave
Including the alternatives we ruled out and why, so you can think about it at home instead of reconstructing it from memory.
Locations
Three offices, thirty minutes apart
Chosen so most of Miami-Dade and south Broward is within a half-hour drive. Each page states panel status and the current first-available appointment.
Brickell
1200 Brickell Avenue, Suite 400. Serving Brickell, Downtown, Miami Beach and Hialeah. Deliveries at Baptist Hospital of Miami.
Coral Gables
2525 Ponce de Leon Boulevard, Suite 300. Serving Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, South Miami, Kendall and Doral.
Aventura
21000 Biscayne Boulevard, Suite 250. Serving Aventura, Sunny Isles, Hallandale and Fort Lauderdale. Deliveries at Mount Sinai.
Insurance
One page per plan, by product
Being in network with an insurer does not mean being in network with every product it sells. That distinction is where most surprise bills come from, so each plan gets its own page.
Florida Blue
BlueCare HMO, BlueOptions PPO, BlueSelect. BlueCare needs a referral; the other two do not.
Aetna
Choice POS II, Open Access, Managed Choice. Managed Choice needs a referral on file before the visit.
Cigna
Open Access Plus, LocalPlus, PPO. No referral required on any of them.
UnitedHealthcare
Choice Plus, Options PPO, Navigate. Many UHC plans are self-funded by the employer, so we verify the plan, not the logo.
AvMed, Humana, Oscar
Each with its own page and its own referral rules, plus Medicare and self-pay package pricing.
Medicaid
Credentialing with the three Florida managed-care plans is in progress. The stage is published rather than the plan omitted.
